3 BSR Therapists Earn Board Certification in Orthopaedics (OCS)

July 28, 2026 Tags: ,

BSR would like to recognize and congratulate three of our physical therapists for earning board certification in orthopaedic physical therapy.  Dr. Victoria Gilham, Dr. Greg Cheeseman, and Dr. Connor Keehn passed their specialist examination in 2026.  They are now recognized as Orthopaedic Clinical Specialists (OCS).

BSR now employs seven board-certified clinical specialists across our 4 clinics.  Most of these therapists first completed a residency program before sitting for the rigorous specialist exam.

An orthopedic residency is a post-professional training program designed for licensed physical therapists who want to specialize in orthopedics. This form of advanced training is a bridge between being a new physical therapist and becoming a recognized expert.  Completing this type of training requires immense effort and sacrifice.  Most physical therapists are not able or willing to embark on such a journey.

Credentialed physical therapy residency programs require 300 hours of didactic learning and 150 hours of advanced clinical mentorship with an expert.  Dr. Tom Michaels and Dr. Justin Gardner acted as clinical mentors for Victoria, Greg, and Connor.  Also, BSR financially supports all residents so they can focus on professional growth and helping their patients.

Great job, Victoria, Greg, and Connor!
